Piggy and the Magic Ice cream

Greetings fellow readers~!

This is my first post this year. Wow~ it's almost midyear and I'm saying this is the first post; talk about massive hiatus haha.

Today's post is about my previous term's assignment. We had user interface, Creativity and Problem Solving, and  Design and Culture modules last term. I like Design and Culture the most cuz' I got to see many artists (which most of them I can relate to honestly). So far my favs are Takashi Murakami, Henri Matisse, Renee Margitte, and Salvador Dali. My second preferred module is Creativity and Problem Solving which where we basically are demanded to expand our creativity. Although I have to admit that I felt like half of the class is about brainstorming.... I don't like brainstorming. But oh well we'll need that in the future so just bear with it. 

Interesting stuff! Final project for Creativity and Problem Solving module is to create an original story and animate it with .GIF. GIF is a format for picture files which can only consist of few colours but-- the best thing is that it MOVES. Who doesn't like moving picture, seriously. EVERYBODY LOVES IT. By making our original story into GIF we can achieve more dynamic result which is indeed very interesting. Despite the limited features in GIF formatted pictures, there are many assets you can trigger to make your work look astounding.Working with GIF is enjoyable because it's simple and easy. Everybody can make it!

In this task, we have to make our own character and story. It started with a sketch and profile and then we have to make the storyboard of each scenes. We had to make 12 scenes. Later we will exchange story with our classmate and create extra 5 scenes combined with our partner's character!

My project's story is about a Pig who is invisible and casted away by the society. She's very shy because she doesn't come in contact with anyone her entire life. One day he met a man who gave her a magic Ice cream! And later she meets my partner's Character and see what happened!

Follow my Pig for the twist and turn of events in her life!

Once upon a time lived a pig who was invisible. She was always alone. No meal to share with. No man watching her morrow come and gone. Alas! she lived and had faith, for someone might one day notice her.

Trying to shoo her loneliness, she took a stroll in a park and someone called her.

"Who?" she questioned. Who it might be? Who is it to notice her faint presence within the thin air? For her entire life nobody has never ever noticed her! She turned and saw a red Ice-cream wagon.

A man waving a sign was before the wagon. His thick mustaches framed his kind smile. "Rainbow Ice-cream, miss? Best in town since forever~" He said.

Astonished and embarrassed, the pig nodded shyly and handed out a bill to the man. Her voice was held back and she couldn't ask a single thing, just walking away with her ice cream in hand.

Taking her first lick,  Pig felt something strange happening to her body. She felt spinning and dizzy.

The weird feeling faded and after that she realized that she changed into a human!

A girl with a pink hair and fair skin. Her eyes gleaming with joy! How could this be?!

She looked at the ice cream seller with eyes of joy, unable to mutter any word. "Heya! like your new body?" the Ice cream man winked. "H-h-how???" she was stuttering. "

"You see, I just happened to be a wizard. I met thousands kinds like you. The one who hasn't yet find their true colour. That Ice cream is a magic ice cream which gave you your true colour." the Ice cream man explained. Pig was very happy that she screamed 'thank you' and hugged the Wizard.

Shy, happy, and excited. Pig ran at once, leaving huge dustball behind. She's ready for her new adventure!

Pig and the Cherry Blossom Tree

The following story is collaboration with my friend, Cindy. Her story is about a Cherry Blossom tree who was sad because its bestfriend who is a boy left him to city. In Cindy's story, the boy realized that the tree became weary after he left it, so he took it with him to the city.

Pig ran and ran, not knowing where she was heading.

Clumsily she hit something as she was running. A rosy swollen head rose from her forehead.

She looked at what she hit and it was a cherry blossom tree inside a truck. She stared at it for a good long time and felt that there is 'something' different with the cherry blossom tree. So she took out the magic Rainbow ice cream and threw it to the sakura tree.

The tree suddenly shone bright and as the light was decreasing, there was a girl with bright pink long hair and orange skin. The tree changed into a girl too!

Pig was very happy to find someone similar to her. She smiled at her and jumped to the truck, surprising the cherry blossom tree. Pig decided to go with Cherry Blossom tree to wherever she goes.
